Mike Martin is inseparable from college baseball history. A former Seminole player and assistant coach, Martin took over as skipper in 1980 and elevated FSU into one of the nation’s premier programs. He led the Seminoles for 40 seasons, becoming the sport’s winningest coach of all time with 2,029 victories. Known for his deep joy in the game, competitive attitude and commitment to his players, Martin’s impact on Florida State and college baseball at large still resonates today.
