ON THE RUN: NATIONAL RUNNER-UP FINISHES

The Seminole softball program was the best in the nation after winning the National Championship in 2018. Hungry for more in the 2020s, the team made two deep runs through the NCAA Tournament and Women’s College World Series, finishing as national runners-up in both 2021 and 2023. Led by star P Kathryn Sandercock, OF Kaley Mudge, C/UT Kalei Harding and head coach Lonni Alameda, the Seminoles proved they were perennial contenders and a constant threat in Oklahoma City.
