ACE OF THE ACC

With a 14-0 record and a 1.03 ERA in conference play, Kathryn Sandercock was the natural winner of the 2023 ACC Pitcher of the Year Award. She became the first Nole to win it since Kylee Hanson in 2018. That season, Sandercock became the fourth pitcher in program history to reach 100 career wins with a victory over Louisville. She also earned the win against No. 6 Duke in the ACC Tournament championship game and earned the title of ACC Tournament MVP. Sandercock remains one of the top 10 pitchers in ACC history with 107 career wins.
