THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM: 2021 CHAMPIONSHIP

The Seminoles had a charmed campaign in 2021. After going 16-1-2 in the regular season and securing another ACC Championship, FSU scorched the competition in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Led by MAC Hermann Trophy winner M Jaelin Howell and stalwart GK Cristina Roque, the Noles gave up only one goal in six postseason games. No. 1 FSU defeated No. 5 Rutgers in the College Cup Final Four, then dispatched No. 13 BYU in dramatic fashion with a 4-3 win on penalty kicks in the title game.
