FIRST THINGS FIRST: 2014 CHAMPIONSHIP
The Seminoles clinched their first National Championship in 2014, showcasing a meteoric rise for a program that began less than 20 years earlier. Under the guidance of head coach Mark Krikorian, FSU went 24-1-1 on the season, one of the strongest performances in college soccer history. M Dagny Brynjarsdottir, D Kristin Grubka and F Cheyna Williams led No. 2 FSU to a shutout victory over No. 3 Stanford in the College Cup Final Four, before F Jamia Fields scored the decisive goal against No. 4 Virginia to claim the College Cup Championship.
