WINNING WAYS
Date: 2014 Season
This NCAA Statistical Champion plaque commemorates FSU’s dominance in 2014, when the Seminoles compiled a .942 winning percentage with a 24-1-1 record. The season featured a program-best 19 shutouts and a balanced attack that produced 61 goals. No. 2 FSU swept through the NCAA Tournament with five straight clean sheets before defeating No. 4 Virginia 1-0 in the College Cup Championship Game. In doing so, FSU became just the third school in NCAA history to win a national title without allowing a goal throughout the tournament — a defensive performance that remains one of the best in college soccer history.
