WHEN WARREN TOOK OVER THE ACC
Date: 2018 Season
Jessie Warren was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in 2018 after one of the most dominant seasons in FSU softball history. A junior from Tampa, Warren held down the Seminole lineup all season, finishing with a .404 batting average, 21 home runs, 70 RBIs and 153 total bases. She was a First Team All-ACC selection and earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association Second Team All-American honors, combining power, consistency and situational hitting throughout the year. Warren’s regular-season excellence carried seamlessly into the postseason, where she capped her award-winning campaign by leading Florida State to its first NCAA softball National Championship.
