These black and white cleats belonged to Ron Simmons, the legendary defensive lineman who anchored the Seminole defense in the late 1970s. A two-time All-American, Simmons was a force of nature in the trenches. These game-worn shoes carry the weight of history, evidence of the raw power, relentless motor and unmatched leadership that defined FSU’s emerging dominance on the national stage. Simmons later became a College Football Hall of Famer and professional wrestling icon, but it all started here, at Florida State.
