THE PUNISHER
At 6-foot-1 and 250 pounds, TB Greg Jones was a force of nature in the Noles backfield from 2000 to 2003. Wearing No. 6, he combined freakish strength with surprising speed, benching 390 pounds, squatting 625 and running a 4.5-second 40-yard dash. As a sophomore in 2002, Jones bulldozed his way to 1,134 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns, earning first-team All-ACC honors. That included a 189-yard explosion against Clemson and a punishing 173-yard performance versus Maryland that left defenders bouncing off him like pinballs. A torn ACL cut his junior year short, but he bounced back to help power FSU to the 2004 Orange Bowl. Scouts marveled at his physicality during the Senior Bowl, and the Jacksonville Jaguars selected him 55th overall in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
