IT TAKES A VILLAGE

It takes an entire team to help a player win the prestigious Heisman Trophy. Getting helmets, jerseys, pads and other pieces of equipment ready for gameday is a vital cog in the puzzle. For 1993 Heisman winner Charlie Ward, Jimmie Callaway was an important part of the team. Callaway had been a member of the Seminole staff since the mid-1970s, working in various capacities before becoming the head equipment manager in 1989.
