A HISTORIC REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON

When Jameis Winston won the 2013 Heisman Trophy, he became just the second redshirt freshman to take home the award. The star QB wanted to make more history while competing in the BCS National Championship Game a few weeks later. Winston compiled 237 yards and two touchdowns, including a critical touchdown pass with 13 seconds in regulation, to lead FSU to a 34-31 win over Auburn. With the victory, Winston became the first redshirt freshman to win both the Heisman and the national title in the same season.
