FIELD OF DREAMS

On April 2, 2005, FSU dedicated JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex in honor of the legendary coach. Dr. Graf became just one of two active softball coaches with a field named in her honor. “It’s really a credit to all the past players and coaches and the fans, really everybody who’s been supportive of our program,” Dr. Graf said. “I’m very grateful and humbled to everyone who’s been a part of my career here.” The Seminoles added to the festive atmosphere by sweeping Virginia Tech in a doubleheader at the newly named ballpark. The Noles beat the Hokies again the next day, marking Dr. Graf’s 1,300th career victory.
