FAITHFUL TO AB
Date: 1980s to 1990s
Over 116 games wearing Garnet and Gold, guard Aubry Boyd made a lasting impression on the Seminole faithful. The 6-foot-6 letterman averaged nearly 12 points a game during his senior season of 1990-91, which helped the Seminoles secure the Metro Conference Tournament Championship and a run to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Since 2000, the Seminoles have hosted the Aubry Boyd Charitable Foundation game, an exhibition match that benefits Boyd’s living and medical expenses after an accident left him paralyzed. “The support of the Florida State community means the world to me,” Boyd said.
