CONQUERING THE CONFERENCE
Date: 1990s
The Seminoles dominated the ACC once they joined the conference in 1992. FSU won the ACC Tournament eight times in their first nine years, including six consecutive titles from 1995 to 2000 (co-champions with Maryland in 1997). OF Susan Buttery set conference records with nine hits and eight runs scored in the 1992 ACC Tournament, while the team set another record by scoring 29 runs over four games in the 1993 ACC Tournament. Dr. JoAnne Graf finished her career with an 811-331-1 record in ACC play, and her .710 winning percentage remains among the best in conference history.
