CASAS ON THE MOVE

Zoe Casas helped spark FSU’s comeback after an early deficit in Game 2 of the 2018 Women’s College World Series finals, opening the 2nd inning with a double to left-center field. The junior from Rialto, California, later scored one of two runs in the inning as the No. 6 Seminoles surged ahead, turning momentum in an 8-3 victory over No. 5 Washington. The win secured FSU’s first NCAA National Championship and completed a two-game sweep in the finals.
