HARDING’S SLUGFEST
Youth posed no problem for C/UT Kalei Harding in the 2021 season. The freshman slugger led the team with 42 RBIs and added 49 hits, 10 doubles and six home runs. Harding’s hitting was massive in No. 10 FSU’s first Women’s College World Series (WCWS) game against No. 1 Oklahoma. She had a two-run homer and a two-run double for four RBIs, tying the program record set by OF Morgan Klaevemann in 2016. Thanks to Harding’s production, the Seminoles defeated the Sooners 8-4. As an experienced junior in 2023, Harding returned to the WCWS as FSU made another bid for the national championship. At the end of her Seminole career, Harding was third in program history with 46 home runs and fourth with 208 RBIs.
