CAPPING OFF A STELLAR CAREER
Date: 2021 Season
Following her standout 2021 campaign, M Jaelin Howell became the first player in program history to win both the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy and the Honda Sports Award in the same season. The Honda Sports Award was presented to the top women athletes in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports. Howell won the award one month after FSU claimed its fourth National Championship in program history and just weeks after the Louisville Racers selected her No. 2 overall in the NWSL Draft, capping off one stellar career. Over four years wearing Garnet and Gold, Howell totaled 14 goals, 14 assists and 42 points and was part of two National Championship teams.
