HISTORY-MAKING GOALS
Date: 2000 Season
M/D Rachael Watkin enjoyed the most productive season of her Seminole career in 2000. Her 14 points (five goals, four assists) tied for third-most on the team, and her game-winning goal over No. 7 Texas A&M helped catapult FSU to No. 21 in the NSCAA poll — the first ever ranking in program history. Watkin also scored the decisive penalty kick against Wake Forest, giving the Seminoles their first ACC tournament win in program history. For all her history-making abilities, Watkin was named to the NSCAA/adidas All-Southeast team. Her first name is misspelled on this plaque, but her legacy in the 2000 season remains unvarnished.
