BUILDING A DYNASTY

With a 1-0 win over No. 3 North Carolina in the 2018 College Cup Final, FSU brought home their second National Championship trophy in four years. The championship was especially sweet since rival North Carolina defeated FSU in the regular season. Reportedly, Seminole coach Mark Krikorian and Tar Heel coach Anson Dorrance texted before the title game, joking that they hoped for a rematch. Krikorian, who was named 2018 National Coach of the Year by Top Drawer Soccer, led the Noles to the second championship under his leadership and extended the Florida State dynasty.
