ALL FOR ONE, ONE FOR ALL

Dr. JoAnne Graf’s coaching philosophy centered on empowering others. No matter what individual accolades came her way, she emphasized the importance of the entire team for FSU’s success. “Part of coaching is teaching and getting kids to perform up to their ability. That’s kind of the reward for the hard work,” Dr. Graf said. “The people are the ones who get it done,” she added about the Seminole players and support staff. “One person can’t do everything. You’ve got to have a lot of people working toward the same goal and we’ve been real fortunate having that.” While all members of the program worked in unison, Dr. Graf’s leadership and effort to keep everyone on track made FSU one of the top programs in the country.
