A LOPSIDED RIVALRY
Date: October 17, 1987
FSU met Louisville for the 11th time in program history during the 1987 season. Besides the first matchup in 1952, the Seminoles had won every game against the Cardinals to that point. The 1987 version was no different, as FSU came up with a 32-9 victory at home. Led by rushers Victory Floyd, Sammie Smith and Dexter Carter, FSU had 267 yards on the ground and three rushing scores.
