TANGERINE TRIUMPH

This autographed football commemorates FSU’s 40-17 victory over Texas Tech in the 1977 Tangerine Bowl, played on December 23 in Orlando, Florida. The ball is signed by members of the Seminole team that capped off the program’s first bowl appearance in six years with a dominant performance. QB Jimmy Jordan threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns, while WR Roger Overby caught two scores to earn MVP honors.
