STEALING THE SHOW

Wanda Burns was a defensive stalwart at guard during her career at FSU. Her 10 steals in a game against South Alabama in 1989 set a program record, and she twice posted games with seven steals. Despite being limited to only three seasons at FSU — and only two as a full-time starter — Burns averaged nearly four steals per game and remains in the program’s top 20 with 172 career steals.
