SHOUTOUT TO THE SHUTOUT

The Noles capped the 2015 season with an 18-3-4 record and a return to the NCAA Women’s Soccer College Cup, advancing to the national semifinals. No. 9 FSU’s run ended with a 2-0 loss to No. 4 Duke, a match in which the Seminoles controlled much of the statistical battle but came up short on the scoreboard. The game marked the end of a NCAA Tournament shutout streak record that stretched more than 931 minutes and underscored how close the Seminoles were to another title opportunity.
