NO SOPHOMORE SLUMP

F Holly Peltzer enjoyed a prolific sophomore campaign in 2005 by posting a career-high 15 points (seven goals, one assist). Despite starting only six games that season, she finished fourth on the team in points. On September 16, with the No. 9 Seminoles and No. 7 Florida Gators deadlocked at 2-2, Peltzer scored back-to-back goals — her first two career goals — in the match’s final 15 minutes to give FSU the win. Weeks later, in a 4-0 victory over No. 24 Clemson in the ACC Tournament, Peltzer recorded her second two-goal game. She added another postseason goal and assist as the Noles ran through the NCAA Tournament all the way to the College Cup Final Four. A native of Lake Mary, Florida, Peltzer suited up for the Seminoles from 2004 to 2007 and finished with 24 career points (10 goals, four assists).
