NO. 3 CLAIMS NUMBER FIVE

Confetti, championship caps and the NCAA trophy framed the celebration at CPKC Stadium after the final whistle on December 8, 2025. FSU players and staff gathered following a 1-0 victory over No. 1 Stanford in the College Cup Final, the last step in a 6-0 tournament run. As the region’s No. 3 seed (and No. 6 overall), FSU outscored six opponents, 14-2, and closed the season with a 16-2-4 record. The Seminole soccer program’s fifth national title became the 20th NCAA championship across FSU Athletics and the second under head coach Brian Pensky — a collective achievement preserved in one crowded, confetti-covered portrait.
