DOUBLE TAKE

Redshirt senior F Jody Brown (No. 10) had five multi-goal games as a Seminole, with her last one unfolding on the sport’s biggest stage: the 2023 College Cup Final. Just 26 seconds after FSU scored their first goal of the match, Brown sent the ball off the crossbar and into the back of the net for a two-goal lead. She doubled up with another score in the 61st minute. The Noles eventually pulled away for a 5-1 win over No. 3 Stanford and the fourth title in program history. Brown finished with 19 career points and four career game-winning goals in NCAA Tournament games, the latter tying a program record. The native of Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, was also a member of the 2021 National Championship team, joining an elite group of Seminoles with multiple championships to their names.
