INTRODUCING SEMINOLE SOCCER
Date: 1995 Season
In 1995, FSU fielded the first intercollegiate soccer team in school history. The newfound squad would compete in the ACC, a conference that dominated the sport with powerhouses like North Carolina, Duke, Virginia and Clemson. The Noles played their first three seasons on a renovated intramural field before the Seminole Soccer Complex field opened in 1998, and new head coach Heather Kerby brought a wealth of playing and coaching experience from her extensive career in Canada. Scroll through this media guide to learn more about the players, people and stories behind the first season of Seminole soccer.
