CONTRIBUTIONS OFF THE BENCH

During her single season as a Seminole, F Leah Pais helped FSU clinch the fourth National Championship in program history. Despite playing off the bench, Pais finished sixth on the team with 12 points (two goals, eight assists) in the 2023 season. She recorded two assists in the 5-0 shellacking of Morehead State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and scored her second career goal on a successful penalty kick during a 3-0 win over No. 11 Pitt in the Elite Eight. Pais added another helper as No. 1 FSU downed No. 3 Clemson in the College Cup Final Four, 2-0, to advance to the title game. The redshirt senior from Ontario, Canada, brought plenty of experience playing for Albany and Pitt before transferring to Florida State in 2023 — great timing for another special year in program history!
