BOWDEN’S MILESTONE BALL

This football was used during Bobby Bowden’s 380th career win, a 41-27 victory over the Clemson Tigers on November 8, 2008. Played at Doak Campbell Stadium, the game saw FSU erase an early 10-0 deficit behind key performances from QB Christian Ponder and RB Antone Smith. Ponder threw for one touchdown and ran for another, while Smith added two rushing scores. The win secured FSU’s bowl eligibility for the 27th straight season under Bowden and marked yet another milestone in one of the greatest coaching careers in college football history.
