ANOTHER ONE FOR THE TROPHY CASE
Date: 1991 Season
The Seminoles earned their second consecutive Women’s College World Series bid in 1991 by winning the NCAA South Regional. FSU shut out host team Southwestern Louisiana in the first game before taking two victories from Oklahoma State. With the three-game sweep, the Noles improved to 61 wins — the first 60-win season in program history. “Individual goals and honors are secondary to team goals and honors,” said Dr. Graf before the tournament. “I expect the players to do what it takes to help the team.” Dr. Graf led FSU to 21 NCAA Regional appearances in her 30-season career.
