FOLLOWING SEMINOLE TRADITION
India Trotter played a major role in the success of the Seminole soccer program during her four years in Tallahassee. The midfielder made a staggering 97 appearances (including 95 starts) for the Noles, leading the team to three College Cup appearances. Trotter’s four career game-winning goals were also the most in team history at the end of her career. The Florida Player of the Year in 2005 and 2006, Trotter was the first Seminole ever to be named a MAC Hermann Trophy semi-finalist. The two-time All-American was selected by the Saint Louis Athletica of Women’s Professional Soccer, a precursor league to the current National Women’s Soccer League. In all, Trotter’s professional career included stints with the Sky Blue FC and Atlanta Beat of the WPS, Dalsjöfors GoIF in Sweden and FFC Frankfurt in Germany.
