CHOPPING UP THE CONFERENCE
Date: 2013 Season
The Seminoles were a force to be reckoned with during the 2013 season. That year, FSU went 10-2-1 against ACC opponents and cruised through the ACC Tournament to win their second conference title in program history. FSU defeated Virginia Tech 1-0 in the ACC Championship Game, the second of three wins over the rival Hokies that season. M Dangy Brynjarsdottir continued her success over Virginia Tech by scoring the game’s lone goal, while ACC Defensive Player of the Year D Kassey Kallman earned ACC Tournament MVP honors. And the Noles weren’t finished yet — FSU made a run to the College Cup Final for just the second time in program history.
