SELLER’S STELLAR PERFORMANCE
Date: November 23, 1968
WR Ron Sellers needed just one night to cement his legacy in the Seminole history books. In a game against Wake Forest, Sellers compiled 260 receiving yards, setting a program record for most receiving yards in a game. With the effort, Sellers brought his career total to 3,385 receiving yards, setting a record for most receiving yards in NCAA history (since broken). Sellers also caught five touchdowns, yet another program record for most touchdown catches in a game, and his 30 points scored in the contest was a program record for most points by an individual in a game. FSU defeated Wake Forest at home, 42-24.
