WILLIAMS PICKS OFF AN ACC TITLE

One final interception ended a seven-year wait. With under a minute to play in the 2012 ACC Championship Game, DB Karlos Williams intercepted a Georgia Tech pass and returned it 41 yards, sealing No. 13 FSU’s 21-15 victory. RB James Wilder Jr. had powered the Seminoles to a 21-6 halftime lead with two touchdowns. The victory gave the Seminoles their first ACC title since 2005, the program’s 13th overall, and earned them an Orange Bowl berth.
