This garnet shirt likely belonged to No. 12 Susan Brown, a sophomore from Titusville, Florida, commemorating FSU’s 1974 Florida State Championship. After defeating Florida and Flagler College, the Seminoles had a rematch with Florida in the final game. FSU came out with a narrow 32-31 victory thanks to a clutch late free throw made by JoAnne Sharpe. It was the first state championship in program history. The victory guaranteed a 10-win season, another first for the program.
