TAKING OVER THE ACC

Backed by 11 points from G Angel Gray (No. 1), No. 16 FSU defeated North Carolina State for one of their 12 victories over ACC opponents in the 2009-10 season. It was the second time in as many years FSU notched a dozen wins over ACC rivals. Given those strong records, the Seminoles were crowned ACC regular season co-champions in 2009 and 2010, the first such championships in program history. Gray, who was a member of both conference championship teams, posted a career-high of 14 points in two games against ACC foes: against North Carolina in 2009 and Maryland in 2010.
