TAKING HOLT OF THE GOLD GLOVE

Sophomore OF Tyler Holt quickly wrote his way into FSU baseball record books. The All-American took home the 2009 Collegiate Rawlings Gold Glove Award, which honored his selection as the finest on the field as chosen by the ABCA. He also appeared on the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team the same year. Holt finished his Seminole career fourth all-time in runs (257) and fifth all-time in doubles (tied, 59). He was drafted in the 10th round by the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians). After time in the majors, Holt returned to Tallahassee to serve as an assistant coach for the Seminoles from 2019 to 2021, which included a trip to the 2019 College World Series.
