SUPER SWEET SENIOR SEASON
In the 2009-10 season, G Angel Gray started every game for the first time in her career. It was a well-deserved roster spot for the senior, who paced the Seminoles with 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds en route to the 2010 ACC regular season co-championship (shared with Duke). That season, Gray had a career-high six games with double-digit points, including three against ACC teams. In the second round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament, Gray posted four points, three assists and two steals as the Seminoles narrowly defeated St. John’s in overtime, 66-65. With the victory, Gray was one of three FSU seniors who would return to the Sweet 16 for the first time in three years. “We played our hearts out,” Gray said. “I’m so proud of this team, and I’m ready to play another game.”
