SEVEN WINS AND THE ACC CROWN

Seven conference victories kept FSU atop the ACC in 1995. The Seminoles shared the championship with Virginia with a 7-1 record, extending FSU’s title streak to four seasons since joining the league. Their 29-game ACC winning streak ended in November, but the Noles answered by winning the final two conference contests and securing another crown. Coach Bobby Bowden’s team finished 10-2 and No. 4 in the AP poll, then defeated Notre Dame, 31-26, in the Orange Bowl in Miami.
