REID ALL ABOUT THE ACC TITLE

In the 2005 ACC Championship Game, WR Willie Reid broke a 3-3 tie with an 83-yard touchdown punt return, igniting a 24-point third quarter against Virginia Tech. Reid amassed 210 all-purpose yards and earned game MVP honors as the No. 23 Seminoles upset the No. 5 Hokies, 27-22, at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville. The victory delivered the program’s 12th ACC Championship since joining the conference and sent coach Bobby Bowden’s team to the Orange Bowl.
