PROTECTING THE PAINT
Date: November 28, 2000
A defensive stalwart during her four years at FSU, F Brooke Wyckoff made her presence in the paint known for the Seminoles. During her freshman season, Wyckoff set what was then a single-season program record with 80 blocks. In addition to ranking in the program’s top five all-time with 209 career blocks, Wyckoff averaged 7.4 rebounds per game and scored 1,350 points. In recognition of her defensive prowess, Wyckoff was named to the ACC All-Defensive Team following the 2000-01 season.
