NEWSFLASH: NOLES WIN THE NATTY

Local papers were ready to celebrate FSU’s National Championship as soon as the clock reached zero in the 2000 Nokia Sugar Bowl. The spring semester was scheduled to begin on January 5, 2000, one day after that historic game. As many students and fans traveled to New Orleans for the National Championship Game, it’s likely a few missed the first day of classes.
