NEW TEAM, OLD PRO

Being a young player in a young program provides plenty of opportunities to step up. That was the case for M Kasey McCall in the 1996 campaign. McCall scored nine goals and 24 points that season, setting program records for a freshman that stood until 2000. Her most explosive performance came on September 15, when the Seminoles scored a program-record nine goals in the second half of a victory against Jacksonville. McCall’s hat trick and assist propelled the offensive attack. Beyond her goal-scoring abilities, McCall also led the team with six assists that season. McCall played in part the 1997 campaign before leaving the squad, setting the bar high for future Seminole newcomers.
