M Dallas Dorosy laced up these Nike Superfly 360 cleats ahead of the 2018 College Cup Final and made history. In the 60th minute of a scoreless match against No. 3 North Carolina, Dorosy reeled in a beautiful pass from F Deyna Castellanos and sent it into the net at the near post. The goal was all FSU needed to take a 1-0 victory and win the second National Championship in program history. Coach Mark Krikorian, who called Dorosy “Miss November” after her four-goal output in that month, joked that her nickname should be updated to “Miss December.” Dorosy credited the entire team for battling a tough schedule en route to the title game. “We worked so hard for this,” said the senior from Fort Lauderdale. “To go through adversity — we had some lows in the season and we worked through it — I think it makes it that much more valuable. We worked for it, and I think we deserved it, for sure.”
