KNOX ROCKS
Date: January 1, 1994
WR Kevin Knox stepped up on the biggest stage of the 1993 season. In the 1994 Orange Bowl against Nebraska, Knox hauled in five receptions for 99 yards, one of the strongest offensive performances by any Seminole that night. His contributions helped set up key scoring drives as FSU narrowly edged the Huskers, 18-16, to secure the program’s first national title. A reliable pass-catcher throughout his career, Knox finished the season with 42 receptions for 575 yards and seven touchdowns and went on to play professionally with the Arizona Cardinals.
