JIMBO LIFTS THE TROPHY
Date: January 6, 2014
Seminole head coach Jimbo Fisher had big shoes to fill, being tapped as the successor to the legendary Bobby Bowden. In his first season at the helm in 2010, Fisher led the Seminoles to their first 10-win season since 2003. This set FSU on a trajectory of success marked with a National Championship victory in the 2013 season. By the time Fisher’s tenure ended in 2017, his 83 wins made him the second-winningest coach in team history, behind Bobby Bowden of course.
