HANDS THAT MADE HEADLINES
These gloves belonged to WR Peter Warrick, one of the most electrifying players to ever wear Garnet and Gold. His career at FSU helped solidify the Seminoles as a national powerhouse, particularly during the 1999 National Championship season when he put up 20 points in the Sugar Bowl and was named the game’s MVP. Warrick’s football journey continued in the NFL, where he was selected fourth overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2000 NFL Draft. Though injuries would affect the trajectory of his pro career, he still flashed the same playmaking brilliance he showed in Tallahassee. “When Pete got the ball, you just knew something crazy might happen,” said Chad Johnson, his Bengals teammate. In 2003, Warrick posted career highs with 79 catches, over 800 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, proving himself as a reliable target and dynamic weapon.
