GETTING THE NOLES BACK IN THE GAME

In the biggest contest of the season, FSU found themselves down 18 points in the second quarter of the 2014 BCS National Championship Game. It was an unusual situation for the Seminoles, who had not trailed at any point in a game since late September. All hope was not lost as bulldozing FB Chad Abram kicked off the fourth quarter with an 11-yard touchdown reception, cutting Auburn’s lead to one. Abram’s score gave the Seminoles the motivation to storm back to a 34-31 victory, the first team to win the BCS title after being down at halftime.
