FRUIT OF THEIR LABOR

Few trophies are as iconic, or as literal, as the Orange Bowl’s silver chalice filled with oranges. After defeating Nebraska 18-16 on January 1, 1994, FSU was awarded this FedEx Orange Bowl trophy, capping off the 1993 season with the program’s first national title. Topped with a quarterback statue and brimming with symbolism, the trophy represents the culmination of a dominant campaign. The win in Miami secured FSU’s No. 1 AP ranking and cemented the team’s place in college football history.
